Hall
Pantera began innocently enough. In 1973, Gary Hall purchased a brand new
Pantera, which quickly became his favorite all-time car. When Ford pulled
out of the Pan
tera project in 1975, Hall became concerned about purchasing parts
for his beloved Pantera.
When Bill Stroppe -- the individual responsible for ensuring that all
Panteras entering the country met government specifications -- offered his
entire stock of Pantera parts for sale, Hall was there and bought
everything...literally enough parts to completely build a few dozen Panteras!
Whenever a Pantera owner needed a part for their cars, they seemingly always
turned to Hall for their needs. "I never intended to get into the
parts business," said Hall. "I just wanted to be sure I had a lifetime
of parts for my own car."
Realizing it would take literally forever to get use the parts, Hall began to
advertise his stock. Demand soon soared -- far beyond what the Hall
household could handle. With that, Hall Pantera was born in 1976.
Now, some 30 years later, Hall Pantera employees 13 diverse individuals with
over 220 years of combined experience with the DeTomaso marque, to provide you
with the parts, service and expertise you and your beloved classic DeTomaso
deserves.
